During my recent stay at Albergo Bel Tramonto in Porto Azzurro on the enchanting Elba Island, I was delighted by its charming atmosphere. Just a leisurely 600-meter stroll from the nearest beach, it proved to be the perfect launchpad for my explorations, accompanied by a fellow history enthusiast. The twin room I stayed in boasted a lovely balcony, allowing us to bask in the warm Italian sun while sipping local wine and discussing the region's fascinating past. The hotel offers lovely views and ample relaxation within its serene garden, alongside a cozy on-site bar that quickly became our evening retreat. With free WiFi and a flat-screen TV in the room, I managed to squeeze in a bit of research about nearby historical sites, including the stunning Portoferraio just 15 minutes away. If you're keen on both history and stunning landscapes, Albergo Bel Tramonto is an ideal choice for a nice stay!
